About Reversi
Reversi is a free strategy board game that runs in your browser on phone and desktop, with no download or sign-up. Place a disc to trap a line of your opponent's discs and flip them to your color. Whoever owns more of the board at the end wins. Play an AI with nine levels, from near-random to expert. A built-in coach grades your moves and explains why, and 156 puzzles teach the key ideas.
- Controls
- Mouse: click a square to place a disc, hover to preview flips. Touch: tap a square. Keyboard: arrow keys move the cursor, Enter plays, U takes back, H shows a hint.
- Length
- 10 min per round
Tips
- Corners can never be flipped. Grab them when you can, and avoid the squares right next to an empty corner.
- Flipping fewer discs early is often stronger. It leaves your opponent with fewer good moves.
- Leaderboard score is your disc count times the AI level. A clean win on a higher level beats a rout on level 1.
