About Block Drop
Block Drop is a free falling-block puzzle styled like a retro handheld console, playable in your browser on phone and desktop with no download or sign-up. Pieces fall one at a time. Move and rotate them to complete full horizontal lines, which vanish and score points. The more lines you clear, the faster it gets. Let the stack reach the top and the game is over. Big on-screen buttons make it easy on touch, and the keyboard works on desktop.
- Controls
- On-screen buttons on touch; arrow keys to move and rotate, Space to drop, P to pause
- Length
- 10 min per round
Tips
- Keep the stack flat and low. Deep holes and tall towers are much harder to fix than they look.
- Leave one column open on the side and save straight pieces for it. Clearing several lines at once pays the most.
- Use Space to hard drop once a piece is lined up. It saves time and points at higher speeds.
