About Word Guess
Word Guess is a free word puzzle that runs in your browser on phone and desktop, with no download or sign-up. Find the hidden word in six tries. After each guess, the letters change color: red means the right letter in the right spot, amber means it is in the word somewhere else. Choose any word length from 4 to 11 letters and play endless rounds, or turn on hard mode to keep yourself honest.

- Keyboard: type letters, Enter to guess, Backspace to delete. Touch or mouse: tap the on-screen keyboard.

- 3 min per round
Tips
- Open with a word full of common letters like E, A, R, S and T to rule out the most in one guess.
- Don't reuse letters you already know are missing. Each guess should test new letters.
- Watch for double letters. If you are stuck on one slot, the answer may repeat a letter.
